Expect Delays Tuesday Night At Highway 43/Sellwood Bridge

To collect asphalt core samples from the Highway 43-Sellwood Bridge interchange, county crews will need to make lane closures overnight.

PORTLAND, OR — Expect delays on Highway 43 near the Sellwood Bridge between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday, as county workers need to close some lanes to take asphalt core samples from the interchange.

County spokesman Mike Pullen said at least one northbound and one southbound lane will be open at all times, as well as the to and from ramps on the Sellwood Bridge itself, but delays may still be possible.

If the work is not completed over Tuesday night, the closures will begin again after 8 p.m. Feb. 14.
