FBI Says Person Died During Northeast Portland Standoff Thursday

After the FBI showed up to search a home, a person barricaded inside a room and was found dead.

PORTLAND, OR — The FBI showed up at a home on Northeast Ainsworth St. by 14th Ave. on Thursday morning. They were ready to serve a search warrant and had Portland Police there to assist.

It was part of an investigation into child exploitation.

Once law enforcement arrived, the person inside barricaded in a room.

The name of the person who died has not been released. The FBI says that no agent or officer used force.
