- After a woman died of a drug overdose, Portland Police were able to trace it back to a $200 fentanyl deal near the Washington Center. According to a federal affidavit, before the woman passed away, she shared an Uber ride with her son before giving him $200 to buy fentanyl. When the son woke up and found his mother dead, he called the police and worked with them to arrest the dealer. (Oregon Live)
- The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education is reopening. The museum was closed for four months due to construction while they expanded the museum. The new space allowed the museum to add gallery space for a new core exhibit and re-design the floor plan for a better visitor experience. (KATU)
- Portland Police arrested a man on a warrant after he allegedly broke into a home while high on fentanyl. 39-year-old Gary Allen Smith Jr. was found sleeping in the homeowner's bed and trying on his clothes, claiming that someone had put him there. He is being held at the Multnomah County Jail. (KATU)
