Fire Damages McMenamins In Raleigh Hills

The pub will reopen as soon as possible following an early morning fire that caused smoke damage to the interior of the restaurant.

RALEIGH HILLS, OR — An early morning fire at McMenamins Raleigh Hills Pub was quickly extinguished by Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews Tuesday, leaving the restaurant and bar with mostly just smoke damage inside. Fire officials said the mysterious blaze was primarily contained to the outside of the building.

A person who just happened to be walking by the pub at 3:30 a.m. June 5 reportedly noticed smoke and fire coming from the outside of the restaurant and called the Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency.

As crews arrived on scene, firefighters found flames coming from the back of the pub, officials said, noting that they made quick work of the blaze and had it under control within 20 minutes.
