Fireworks Felon(s) Wanted; Multiple Rewards Offered
Police and Plaid Pantry will reward any information leading to the arrest of whomever terrorized N. Portland with fireworks July 10.

PORTLAND, OR — The Portland Police Bureau is doubling its effort to apprehend the person or people responsible for launching fireworks into a Plaid Pantry store and at diners eating outside at 87th and Meatballs on North Lombard Street in early July. One person was reportedly injured.
Working in coordination with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and Portland Fire & Rescue, Portland police officials are offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest. Plaid Pantry is also offering its own $15,000 reward for information on the attack at its store.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, officers began investigating the explosions on July 10 after fireworks were first set off at the intersection of North Lombard Street and North Interstate Avenue. Shortly afterward, officers were dispatched to the Plaid Pantry at 6510 N. Greeley Ave. after active fireworks were thrown into the convenience store.

Later the same day, fireworks were shot into a crowd of diners eating outside at the 87th and Meatballs restaurant at 8737 N. Lombard St.
Property was damaged and at least one person was hurt in the explosions, police officials said. It's unclear whether all three incidents were perpetrated by the same individual(s).
