Gunfire Reported Near Multnomah University: Police
Gunfire was reportedly heard around NE Pacific Street and NE 87th Avenue just after 5 a.m. Wednesday. No injuries have been reported.
PORTLAND, OR — Police are investigating an apparent shooting near Montavilla Park and Multnomah University in Northeast Portland Wednesday morning. At this time, however, no injuries have been reported or suspects identified.
Gunfire was reported just before 5:15 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 8400-block of Northeast Pacific Street. Officers at the scene found evidence of a shooting near Northeast 87th Avenue and Northeast Pacific Street, but they did not locate any damaged property as a result.
The city's Gun Violence Response Team is reportedly investigating this incident.
