Hit-And-Run Victim Dies At Hospital, Police Say

Njuguna Githere, 58, was struck by a Honda Pilot while he crossed NE Sandy Boulevard in the Kents area on Saturday night. He died Tuesday.

PORTLAND, OR — A 58-year-old Portland man has died from injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run collision in the Kents neighborhood this past Saturday. The unidentified driver ultimately responsible for the collision and fatality remains on the loose, police said.
