PORTLAND, OR – A man who slipped and fell in the shower at the Multnomah County Detention Center is suing the county because of the injuries. The inmate, 36-year-old Christopher Depue, is asking for $905,000.
Depue was arrested on Nov. 22, 2016 on a warrant out of Clackamas County that was issued because he had failed to show up to face charges of theft and trespassing.
His lawsuit, filed last month and first reported by the Oregonian, says that deputies took him to the shower and told him "to wash himself because he had dog feces on his pants."
