Inmate Walks Away From Work Crew In Washington: Sheriff
Monte Huigans was being held on charges related to a domestic violence investigation when he walked away from work crew in Kelso on Tuesday.

COWLITZ COUNTY, WA — An inmate being held by the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office in Washington reportedly walked away from corrections work crew Tuesday morning. He was found hiding behind a house in Kelso later that afternoon.
Monte E. Huigens, 36, was with a inmate work crew near the Hall of Justice in Kelso around 10:30 a.m. July 17 when he apparently just walked away.
At 4:30 p.m., Cowlitz Sheriff's officials said they'd re-captured Huigens after he was found hiding behind a house.

Huigens is reportedly being held while police investigate a domestic violence case involving him, which also includes a no-contact order violation, harassment, and assault.
