Katt Williams In Portland Court After Arrest Warrant Issued
After missing a morning court appearance, an arrest warrant was issued for comedian Katt Williams. He made it for an afternoon appearance.

PORTLAND, OR – Katt Williams had a tough morning. The comedian was driving up to Portland from California for an appointment in the morning. Along the way, he had car trouble and missed the appointment,
Unfortunately for Williams, the appointment was in a Portland courtroom for a pretrial hearing on charges related to his arrest last month. He had been charged with assaulting a limo driver during a dispute.
Officials say that Williams had called the court to say that he was having car issues. They told them that they would wait until 11:30 a.m. to get to court.

As it turns out, Williams was able to make it up by the afternoon and the hearing was held.
He entered a plea of not guilty.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb 2. The judge said that as long Williams stays in good standing with the court's office of pretrial release services, he can skip the hearing.
The trial is scheduled for March 2019.
Williams had been in Portland last month to appear at the Moda Center as part of Nick Cannon's Wild N Out tour.
Police said that he got into an argument with a driver who had been sent to the airport to pick him up.
Williams allegedly assaulted the driver – who was treated and released at a local hospital – and then found another car. He was arrested the next morning.
The comedian returned to Portland a couple of weeks later to perform two surprise shows at the Roseland.
Williams, 47, won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series earlier this year for his work on the show, Atlanta.
The comedian has had several run-ins with the law on assault charges over the years and has been ordered to attend anger management classes.
