Little Caesars Serves Pizza At Union Gospel Mission This Friday

Little Caesars Love Kitchen charity will visit downtown Portland to serve up pizza at Union Gospel Mission on Friday.

PORTLAND, OR — If you or someone you know could use a hot meal, head to Union Gospel Mission this Friday. The Little Caesars Love Kitchen truck will park in front of the UGM facility in downtown Portland for several hours while volunteers serve pizza to hungry houseless people in need.

The truck will appear from 2 to 3:45 p.m. Oct. 19 at 15 N.W. Third Ave. UGM officials estimate they'll serve more than 300 people, or roughly 720 slices of pizza. UGM reportedly serves more than 700 meals per day to community members struggling on the streets of Portland.

The visiting Little Caesars Love Kitchen truck is one of two that reportedly travel the country serving communities 365 days per year. The service is made possible by Little Caesars franchisees who donate the resources needed, including the volunteer help, to support the program, UGM officials said.
