Here are the top three stories in Portland today:

  1. Firefighters in Portland fought a massive fire that engulfed almost four box trucks parked at a U-Haul rental property. Residents in the area reported numerous explosions and, when the fire crew arrived, it was virtually impossible to get to the center of the fire due to the closeness of vehicles. (KOIN.com)
  2. Portland police were able to arrest a man for killing someone in Southeast Portland's Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood. It was one of two shootings on Wednesday night. Teddy Wayne Hall, 63, was charged with second-degree murder and unlawful weapon use. An hour later, police responded to another shooting in the Parkrose neighborhood. (KGW.com)
  3. Volunteers helped in the Portland Native American Youth and Family Center community garden to honor Indigenous people. Volunteers cleaned and rebuilt the garden. The event named, "Un-Thanksgiving" began last year as an alternative to the colonist-centric holiday. (Subscription: OregonLive)
