Milwaukie Girl, 11, Asks Santa For Barbie, Says She's Been 'Very Good'
Dixie says she "had the Unicorn Barbie, but she was even too weird for Portland." That's why she's asking Santa for a different model.

Milwaukie, OR — Writing a letter to Santa is a treasured tradition for many Oregon families. They’re a lens into the magic of the holiday season through the eyes of a child.
We’ve partnered with T-Mobile so we can all share in their joy. This letter, submitted by Terry Lee Jones in Milwaukie, was written by 11-year-old Dixie:
“Dear Santa,
Find out what's happening in Portlandfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
I promise I have been a very good girl all year long and have not had too many fights with my brother, Abbott ...
For Christmas I would like to have a new Barbie Doll. I had the Unicorn Barbie but she was even too weird for Portland. I would really like to have the version from the movie because I liked her pink dress.

I would also like a rewritable message board night light that I saw on the internet. I guess you should bring Abbott something, too, like a new puppy or something.
Love, Dixie”
Santa is waiting to hear from your kids, too. Click here to fill out the form, and you can submit a photo if you’d like.
Please note: Your (child’s) letter may be shared with your community to help spread holiday cheer. All fulfillment requests need to be routed separately to the North Pole and/or Santa himself. In other words, these letters are just for fun: Santa won’t be checking the lists on Patch.
