Motorcycle Crash On 205 Leads To Death Of Tacoma Man

PORTLAND, OR – A motorcyclist from Tacoma who was involved in a crash in Portland on Saturday night, has died from his injuries. Jimmie Luff was 48-years-old.

Police say that around 9:43 Saturday night, officers responded to a crash on I-205 just north of Glisan Street.

There they found Luff lying on the highway, very seriously injured. Investigators believe that he had crashed into the back of the vehicle in front of him.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Officials say that he died on New Year's Day.

Since the crash happened in 2018, police say that i was the 36th fatal crash investigated by the police bureau's Major Crash Team last year,
