Kim: Friends of Outdoor School is committed to providing the hands-on field science experience of Outdoor School to all Oregon students regardless of income, experience, ability or family background.

Kim: We raise money, build community partnerships and engage volunteers to help Outdoor School and the students it serves.

Patch: What is the biggest struggle your organization faces?

Kim: Securing stable, long-term funding for Outdoor School for all students.

Patch: What do you hope for the future of your nonprofit?

Kim: I hope that we will secure a stable, long-term funding source so that all students may attend a week of Outdoor School. When that happens, Friends of Outdoor School can concentrate on taking actions that build, improve, develop staff, and enhance Outdoor School.
