New Artists’ Residency Program Available For Portland Teens
Portland Community Media invites students interested in digital media to register for Echo AiR.

Are you interested in 3-D printing, virtual reality, animation or digital media?
Portland Community Media (PCM) and the Hollywood Theatre are proud to present a new artists’ residency program for teens who want to create new media art.
You’ll get to explore new trends in digital media in classes taught by experienced artists. Take a stance on important issues with arts activist Moreshin Allahyari, code exciting visual art pieces with Jeremy Rotsztain, and more.

This program runs Sept. 19-Jan. 13. Students meet every Monday and Thursday from 4:30-6:30pm at Wacom Experience Center (1455 NW Irving). Mondays, you’ll learn new techniques from guest artists, and Thursdays, you’ll get to work on projects of your own, using PCM’s cutting-edge equipment.
At the end of the program, you’ll present your projects to the public with a massive group show!
