Northeast Portland Shooting Thursday Leaves One Dead, One Injured
Police say that Reza Mardani is charged with murder and attempted murder after the shooting Thursday on the 5300 block of Northeast 74th.
PORTLAND, OR – Portland Police say that Reza Chehrazi Mardani will be in court Friday on charges of murder and attempted murder. They say that the 64-year-old was arrested Thursday afternoon after shooting a 63-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man.
The man is dead, the woman hospitalized with traumatic injuries.
The woman's dog was also shot and killed.

Police responded to the home around 4:30 on Thursday afternoon.

Officials say that all three people were associated with the home and property where the shooting happened.
The names of the man who was killed and the woman who was injured have not been released. POlice have not commented yet on how the three were connected and what might have led to the shooting.
