Officer Punched In Face In MAX Station Disturbance, Man Arrested
Portland Police say that Asasioeth Epenrosa was arrested after punching an officer in the face during a disturbance by the Lloyd Center.

PORTLAND, OR – A Portland police officer was punched in the face responding to a reported disturbance at the Lloyd Center MAX station on Saturday night. Police say that 20-year-old Asasioeth Reity Epenrosa is charged with assaulting an officer.
It happened around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Officers were told that there was an unruly group at the station.

Police say that when officers arrived, the group became "aggressive and hostile" toward the officers.

As a result, one officer used pepper spray again an individual later identified as Epenrosa.
Police say that Epenrosa responded by punching the officer and running away.
He was caught about one block away.
The officer was treated and released at a local hospita.
