OnPoint Credit Union Robber Escapes, Police Say
A white male suspect escaped after taking an undisclosed amount of cash from a Portland OnPoint Community Credit Union Monday night.

PORTLAND, OR — Police are investigating a robbery that took place at an OnPoint Community Credit Union in Portland Monday night.
Central Precinct officers with the Portland Police Bureau were dispatched to 2011 W. Burnside St. just after 5 p.m. March 5. Employees at the credit union told police a white man came into the bank, gave the teller a note demanding cash, and then left after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is thought to be in his mid-40s and around 5-foot-9. At the time of the robbery he was clean shaven, police said.

A search of the area did not turn up anyone matching the suspect's description.
