Oregon Zoo Welcomes Bruce Wayne – A New Baby Goat – To The Family
The Oregon Zoo has a new member of its family. A baby goat. His name is Bruce Wayne. His dad is Justice, which is short for Justice League.
PORTLAND, OR – Super heroes live! And at least one is here in Portland. Bruce Wayne is now a resident of the Oregon Zoo's Jonsson Center for Wildlife Conservation.
Of course, this Bruce Wayne is just a kid. Literally. He's a baby goat born on November 24th.
Bruce's parents are Lilac and Justice. His dad's name is short for Justice League of America. Someone at the zoo is clearly a fan of DC Comics.

"We're so excited to welcome these two to the herd," said the woman who oversees the animals at the zoo’s Family Farm, Tanya Paul.

"We've been keeping a close eye on Lilac since Bruce was born, and now that they're here we can continue to make sure both mom and baby are happy and healthy."
Bruce and his family live at the Jonsson Center, which is located in rural Clackamas County.
The goats help out their neighbors at the center – California condors, butterflies, turtles and frogs – by eating wild vegetation such as invasive species like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry.
Bruce won't join the goats at the center when he's bigger. In the meantime, visitors can see Bruce and his mom at the Family Farm.
