Engineers are finishing circuit adjustments by the end of Dec. 30, aiming to stop the short outages that have affected thousands of nearby customers while repairs continue.
   

2. Court records reveal criminal history of Northeast Portland double stabbing suspect (koin.com) — Portland police are asking residents for help locating a 54-year-old man suspected in two Christmas Eve stabbings in Northeast Portland, where both victims survived. Court records show he has prior knife-related convictions in Multnomah County, raising neighborhood concerns about repeat violence and the justice system while authorities warn people to call 911 if they see him.

Court records say she breached the contract by adding cremated remains, and a Multnomah County jury found the cemetery’s negligence didn’t legally cause severe emotional distress, leaving the family devastated and without legal relief.
