Pedestrian Struck By Car Downtown: Police
A Mini Cooper traveling through a green light on SW Broadway at 10 a.m. struck a man in a crosswalk, who was facing a 'Do Not Walk' signal.

PORTLAND, OR — A pedestrian was hit by a Mini Cooper in downtown Portland Monday morning, forcing the closure of Southwest Broadway between West Burnside and Southwest Pine streets.
The collision reportedly occurred just after 10 a.m. June 4, when a yellow Mini Cooper traveling through a green light on Southwest Broadway struck a male pedestrian in a crosswalk who was facing a "Do Not Walk" signal.
The Mini Cooper driver reportedly stayed at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with the investigation.

The pedestrian reportedly sustained serious, life-threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
