Plaid Pantry Thieves Steal ATM, Crash Into TriMet Bus, And Flee
The thieves pulled the ATM from the store using a pickup and a chain. While fleeing, they hit a bus. They're still on the run.
PORTLAND, OR – It may not go down as one of the best-executed crimes but, in the end, the thieve did get away.
Officers from the Portland Police East Bureau responded to the Plaid Pantry and 51st and Holgate Boulevard around 4:18 Monday morning.

As they drove off, they crashed into a TriMet bus but were able to keep going.
Officers found the truck at Southeast Cora and 42nd. No ATM and no thieves were found.

Police want people in the area to check surveillance cameras to see if they captured anything.
