Police ID Man Killed In Home Shooting Sunday
Billy Mayfield was shot in a Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood home Sunday night. He died on his way to hospital. No arrested have been made.
PORTLAND, OR — Police on Monday night identified the man who died from injuries sustained in a Southeast Portland residential shooting late Sunday as 37-year-old Billy R. Mayfield.
Mayfield reportedly died while en route to hospital after he was shot inside a home in the 12200-block of Southeast Harold Street just before 9:30 p.m. July 1.
Investigators have not released any suspect information, though they've stated there is no perceived danger to the community.
