PORTLAND, OR – It's one of those moments when everyone gets a glimpse of the spirit of giving. Potluck n the Park held its 25th annual Christmas Day hot meals for the homeless.

For the fifth year in a row, it was held at the Portland Art Museum.

Santa Claus was on hand as well as live music.

The nonprofit, which has served hot meals for the needy for more than 1,400 consecutive Sundays dating back to 1991, also provided cell phones for people so that they could connect with loved ones.

Each guest received a stocking filled with practical goodies such as socks, hats, and hygiene kits.
