Portland Man Arrested After Spending Night At City Liquidators

Police say that 49-year-old Errol Henderson went inside during business hours and likely fell asleep.

PORTLAND, OR – It wasn't quite a night at the museum, but Errol Henderson spend much of the night at City Liquidators on Southeast 3rd Avenue. Once he was discovered, he was arrested and charged with trespassing.

Police say that Henderson wasn't looking to rob the place, he was looking to take a nap.

Henderson woke up around 11 p.m., saw that he was alone, and went back to sleep.

According to police, he woke up again around 3 a.m. and that's when he drew the attention of a security guard.

Police arrived, figured out what happened, that there'd been no theft or vandalism, and brought Henderson to jail where he spent the rest of the night.
