Portland Man Sentenced For Throwing Semen

Manuel Banuelos-Alcala was sentenced to three years probation for throwing semen at women.

PORTLAND, OR -- A Portland man who threw semen at random women was sentenced on Friday.

Manuel Banuelos-Alcala, 48, was ordered to register as a sex offender. He will also serve three years probation, according to a OregonLive.com report.

Banuelos-Alcala was arrested earlier this year after he reportedly threw semen at unsuspecting female customers in grocery stores in the Portland area. One incident happened while the victim was with her children in Beavertorn.

Banuelos-Alcala was arrested in late May.

While these kinds of acts are highly unusual, they're not entirely unheard of, according to Portland police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson. Additionally, because of the apparent randomness and clandenstineness of the act, detectives believe there may be victims who are unaware anything ever happened to them.

Banuelos-Alcala has a wife and three children, according to OregonLive.com.
