Portland Officer Fires Gun Responding To Domestic Violence Call
A Portland police officer fired his weapon Wednesday night while responding to a domestic violence call. No one was injured.

PORTLAND, OR – Responding to a domestic violence call, a Portland police officer fired his gun on Wednesday night. No one was injured.
It happened around 11:30 p.m at the Stacey Lee Apartments at 141 Northeast 147th Avenue.
Police say that as officers made contact with the people believed to be involved in the incident, one of the officers fired his gun.

Officials have not said why the officer fired, what led up to it, or if the officer fired intentionally.

The incident is being investigated by the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office as well as detectives from the Police Bureau's homicide bureau.
Officers did arrest someone in relation to the domestic violence call though that person's name has not been released.
