Portland Police Arrest Man Indicted For 6 Years Of Violent Crimes
Portland Police say that Darious Brumfield is responsible for "an extraordinary number of violent, sexually motivated crimes."

PORTLAND, OR — The man in the picture is 27-year-old Darious Brumfield. Portland Police say that officers arrested him on Tuesday after he'd been indicted on 14 charges "for an extraordinary number of violent, sexually motivated crimes."
Detectives say that they want people to see his picture because they have reason to believe that there are more victims out there. Crimes may have taken place outside of Portland.
The indictment charges Brumfield on crimes that took place from 2015 through this year.

Some of the crimes that Brumfield is charged with are kidnapping, strangulation, sodomy, rape, coercion, sex abuse, and robbery.

Officials say that on Tuesday Brumfield was spotted downtown and officers from several units moved in. They arrested him without incident outside a tent at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Main Street.
