Portland Police Bust Street Racers for Second Week In A Row
Eight people were arrested this weekend as Portland Police continued their crackdown on street racing.

PORTLAND, OR — For the second weekend in a row, Portland Police were out in force crackdown on street racers. Eight people were arrested and seven cars towed over the weekend as part of the operation.
Police say that the racers were working in a coordinated effort to try and take over an area.

Police worked with Oregon State troopers on both Saturday and Sunday to break up the gatherings. One of them on Sunday was focused on the parking garage of the Lloyd Center.
Eight arrests were made over the two days.
