Portland Police Identify Man Charged In Double Stabbing
Ashley Ray Rogers was charged with assault after police say that he stabbed two people in a Grand Avenue home on Saturday.

PORTLAND, OR – A man is charged with assault after police say that he stabbed a man and woman on Saturday evening. Ashley Ray Rogers, 34, is being held in Multnomah County Jail.
It was one of a handful violent incidents over the weekend that included several shootings.

Officers, responding to a report of an assault, found a man and woman, both adults who had been stabbed.
They were rushed to the hospital with injuries that were considered serious but not life threatening.

A man – now identified as Rogers – was also found at the house who police said is the suspect in the incident.
He was arrested without incident and police recovered the knife that they believe was used in the attack.
