Portland Police Investigate Shooting At Alternative High School

No injuries were reported in the Sunday morning shooting, which is now being investigated by Portland police's Gang Enforcement Team.

PORTLAND, OR — Police on Sunday began investigating an early morning shooting at a home and the Mt. Scott Learning Center in Southeast Portland. No injuries were reported, but police are treating the incident as gang-related.

The home and alternative high school are both located in the 6100-block of Southeast Holgate Boulevard. An earlier report indicated the shooting may have occurred at a church, but that information was updated later Sunday evening.

The shooting reportedly occurred around 3:15 a.m. April 15.

Police have not released any motive or suspect information.

The Portland Police Bureau Tactical Operation Division's Gang Enforcement Team is reportedly investigating the shooting.
