Portland Police Name Man Shot Twice By Officers After Car Chase
Portland Police say that 29-year-old Jason Leo of Vancouver was shot twice after leading officers and Clackamas deputies on a chase.

PORTLAND, OR – Jason Lee Hansen, a 29-year-old from Vancouver, is in a Portland hospital recovering from two gunshot wounds. Police say that he received them after getting in a shootout with Portland police officers and deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office after leading them on a chase.
Hansen was identified Thursday by Portland Police more than a week after the incident.
Police say that things started when deputies approached Hansen in the parking lot of the Johnson Creek Fred Meyer. They say that he was behind the wheel of a car they said was stolen.

Hansen sped away, according to police, leading them on a chase until he crashed by Southeast 89th Avenue and Gray Street. They say that he then ran from the car.

A woman who was with him stayed in the car and was arrested. Her name has not been released.
During the search for Hansen, a Portland officer was was bitten by a K9 from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
Police say that when Hansen is released from the hospital, he will be booked into jail though they have not indicated what the charges will be.
