Portland Police Offer Reward For Info On Man Wanted For Assault

Portland Police say that on Sept. 1, 2018, the person in the sketch assaulted a man. If you know who he is, there could be a reward.

PORTLAND, OR – Take a good look at the man in the sketch. Portland Police hope that you know. They say that very early in the morning on Sept. 1, he assaulted a 41-year-old man.

If you do know him, there could be a reward in it for you courtesy of the Portland Police Bureau and Crime Stoppers of Oregon.

Police say that on the night of Aug. 31, the victim and a friend had been at a bar where they met the man in the sketch. The victim and his friend then went to a second bar around Northeast Davis and Sandy.

When they left, the victim was approached by the man in the sketch assaulted him and then fled.

Earlier in the evening, the man in the sketch said that his name is Jeremy, that he had served two tours in combat, and was working as a quality assurance manager at a local manufacturing facility.

He's described as being in his late 20s, 5'10", 180 pounds with light brown, short hair.
