Portland Police Roust Roosters And Hens From Downtown Corner
More than three-dozen chickens apparently flew the coop and were hanging out in the Pearl when they were rounded up on Saturday.
PORTLAND, OR – Why did the 43 chickens cross the road? Apparently to go shopping in The Pearl.
The chickens – roosters and hens – were hanging out by Northwest Station Way and Lovejoy Court when police were called.
As you can see from the picture, the chickens had clearly run afoul of signs warning that there's "no parking," and "no camping," as well as one telling them that they were on private property.
