Portland Police Say They Set Fires At Ross And Then Stole Clothes

Portland Police say that they want help identifying two women who stole from Ross at Cascade Station after one of them first set two fires.

PORTLAND, OR – Portland Police say that she came, she set fires, she stole. Police are looking for two women who went to the Ross Dress for Less at Cascade Station and hope that someone can help identify them.

Officers responded to the store just before 10 p.m. on Nov. 2.

Police say that one woman walked in, gathered several hundred dollars worth of merchandise, then set two fires, and fled in the chaos.

According to officials, she ran out of the store and got into a blue, mid-sized, four-door car driven by the other woman. They then fled.

Police describe the arsonist as having worn a camouflage jacket, green pants, leather work boots, light-colored jacket, carrying a black backpack.

They describe the driver as wearing blue jeans, a purple top, gray sweater, and blondish hair.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to their arrest.

Police say that information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects.
