Portland Police Want To Know Who Killed Jerry And Helen Ephrem

The couple were found murdered in their home four years ago today. Portland Police are renewing their call for help solving the case.

PORTLAND, OR – Four years ago. The day before Halloween. Officers from Portland's east Precinct responded to a home on the 600 block of Northeast 114th Avenue. They had received a report that there was a dead person inside.

It turned out that there were two.

Police found the bodies of Jerry and Helen Ephrem. The 65-year-old couple were dead, the victims of a violent homicide.

To this day, Portland Police do not know why anyone would have wanted to hurt the couple.

As a result, the police – with Crime Stoppers of Oregon – is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
