Portland Wakes To Early Morning Homicide In Northwest Pizza Joint
Police hope that a business on NW Glisan between 21st and 23rd has video that captured people fleeing a shooting that left one man dead.

PORTLAND, OR - One man is dead and two injure after an early morning shooting Friday at a pizza place on NW 21st Avenue. It happened just before 2 a.m..
Police arrived at Silver Dollar Pizza Company and found a man shot to death at the scene. An ambulance took a second man to the hospital. As police investigated, a third man arrived at the hospital after driving a private vehicle.
Police say that they believe the shooter or shooters fled west on Glisan and are asking all businesses on the street between 21st and 23rd to check their surveillance cameras to see if they captured anyone walking or driving away around the time of the shooting.

The police have not released names of the victims or offered any information about what led to the shooting.

The homicide is the 66th in Portland this year, just four shy of the record for a year. that was 70, set in 1987.
