Portland Woman Critically Injured In 3-Car Crash
A woman from Hillsboro was traveling through Central Oregon with 2 friends when she rear-ended a stopped truck in a construction zone.

MADRAS, OR — Three women from the Portland area were hurt in a three-car crash south of Madras on Highway 97 Thursday night. One of those women reportedly sustained life threatening injuries.
According to Oregon State Police, a silver 2006 Saturn ION — driven by 23-year-old Hillsboro resident Casandra Monsivais — entered a construction zone near Highway 97, milepost 101, around 9 p.m. July 10. For unknown reasons, Monsivais failed to stop before careening into the queue of vehicles waiting to pass through the zone.
The Saturn reportedly rear-ended a silver 2013 Dodge Ram pickup, driven by 27-year-old Spokane, Washington, resident Kelty Godby. The impact from that collision forced the Dodge into a 2014 Subaru Crosstrack driven by Timothy Parrish, a 57-year-old resident of Chiloquin — a southern Oregon town in Klamath County.
