Portland Woman Killed In Tillamook Crash That Injures 3 Others

The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office says that Janette Guadalupe Medina was killed when the car she was in went into a drainage ditch.

PORTLAND, OR — A 23-year-old woman from Portland is dead and three others injured are the car they were in went off the highway and into a drainage ditch. It happened around 4 a.m. on Monday.

The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office says that Anthony Ronald Cuarteros of Portland was driving a Subaru Impreza on Highway 101 when the car drove off the northbound shoulder and into a drainage ditch.

The car kept going for another 200 feet before finally stopping in front of the Tillamook Country Smoker Factory Outlet Store.

While deputies say that the road was wet, they're not sure what caused Cuarteros to lose control.

One of Cuarteros's passengers, 23-year-old Jeanette Guadalupe Medina of Portland, was killed in the crash.

Two other passengers – 25-year-old Damon Kyle Cornwell of Beaverton and 22-year-old Alexander Bradley Cuarteros of Portland – along with the older Caurteros were treated at the hospital for minor injuries,
