North and East Precinct officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at Rounders Bar and Lotto just before 11:30 p.m. Feb. 10. Witnesses reportedly told 911 dispatchers that two men — identified as Padberg and Prater — entered the bar at 11416 N.E. Halsey St. and demanded money. Both men were carrying firearms, police said.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, Padberg and Prater left the bar without further incident, police said.

Officers searching the area located a parked Subaru Forester thought to be the suspects' vehicle in the 1700-block of Northeast 46th Avenue, roughly 3 miles west of Rounders in the Hollywood district.
Expecting the pair to flee upon contact, officers placed spike strips ahead of where they figured Padberg and Prater would go.
When police approached the vehicle, the men reportedly fled as expected and drove right over the spike strips, deflating several of the Subaru's tires.
Police chased the Subaru south roughly half a mile, until Padberg crashed into four parked cars near the intersection of Northeast 47th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street.
After the crash, Padberg reportedly tried to flee again but was ultimately unsuccessful. Both suspects were taken into custody.
A shotgun and semi-automatic handgun were reportedly found in the Subaru after Padberg and Prater's arrests.

While Prater was taken to jail Sunday, Padberg was reportedly taken to hospital for a "medical condition" not related to either the crash or his arrest. He was lodged Monday
