Stocky Woman Robs Bank And Gets Away, Police Say
The bank robbery occurred across the street from the Oregon Convention Center around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

PORTLAND, OR — Police are actively searching for a bank robbery suspect who reportedly got away Thursday afternoon following the robbery of Pacific Continental Bank in Portland.
North Precinct officers were dispatched to 717 N.E. Grand Ave., across the street from the Oregon Convention Center, following a reported bank robbery around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 8.
Witnesses told police a 30-year-old black woman entered the bank, offered a note demanding money, then left without incident after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

The woman was said to be around 5-foot-6 and 250 pounds.
