Tavern Robbery Suspects Escape; Police Seek Tips

Two men reportedly held up The Farmer's Barn early Monday. Tipsters could receive a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

PORTLAND, OR — Two men held up The Farmer's Barn in North Portland early Monday and have not yet been caught, according to police. Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to contact Portland detectives.

North Precinct officers were dispatched just after 1:15 a.m. June 11 to a reported robbery at The Farmer's Barn, a small tavern in the Arbor Lodge area, located at 7421 N. Denver Ave.

According to witnesses, two black men entered the tavern and demanded money; one of the men held a handgun.

Taking an undisclosed amount of cash, both men fled the scene without additional incident. No injuries were reported.

Officers reportedly searched the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the suspects' descriptions.

The armed man is described as 6-foot-2 with a medium build, possibly in his 30s. The unarmed accomplice is thought to be in his 20s, roughly 5-foot-7, and with a medium build.

Tipsters could receive a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of these men.
