Traffic Alert: NW Cornelius Pass Road Reopens

A 2-vehicle crash Wednesday morning caused the closure of NW Cornelius Pass Road, from Highway 30 to NW Skyline Boulevard.

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, OR — A 3.5-mile section of Northwest Cornelius Pass Road, from Northwest Skyline Boulevard to Highway 30, was closed for several hours Wednesday morning due to a two-vehicle crash that caused diesel fuel to spill across the road. Multnomah County transportation officials reopened the road around 9 a.m.

The crash reportedly involved a car and a semi-truck. Multnomah County Sheriff's officials on Twitter described the crash as "non-injury."

Commuters were encouraged to use Northwest Germantown Road, Northwest Cornell Road, or Highway 26 as alternate routes around the closure.
