Vancouver Police Looking For Mom They Say Kidnapped Her Daughter
Police say that Esmerelda Lopez snatched her daughter – who is in foster care – during a supervised visit at the Vancouver Mall.
VANCOUVER, WA – Take a good look at the woman in the picture. Her name is Esmerelda Lopez and Vancouver Police say that she kidnapped her daughter on Thursday.
Her daughter, 4-year-old Aranza Ochoa Lopez – you can take a look at her picture above as well – has been living in foster care since being taken from Esmerelda last year.
Police say that Esmerelda took her daughter Thursday afternoon during a supervised visit at Vancouver Mall.

The Washington Department of Social and Health Services and Vancouver Police say that based "on the history of the mother" they "have reason to fear for the safety of the child."

Police say that Aranza was last believed to have been wearing a long-sleeve dark blue shirt with a bulldog on the front, pink pants, and "paw patrol" shoes while her mom was wearing a red and white striped soccer jersey.
Police believe that they may be in a 2007 Toyota Corolla with Washington license plate number BIW7067.
They say that if anyone has seen Esmeralda, they should not approach her. They should call 911.
