First Friday Coming Up In Ambler

AMBLER, PA — Butler Avenue will be shut down Friday night for one of the summer's signature events in Downtown Ambler.

First Friday features a wide variety of attractions ranging from expanded outdoor dining, live music, and family activities, to shopping specials, food trucks, and more.

Closures begin at 3 p.m. on Butler Avenue. Events are held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Here are some highlights Friday:

• Dolce Gelato Truck, between Main and South Spring Garden
• Funnel Cake Truck
• Baken Bacon Food Truck
• More speciality vendors
• A barbershop quarter strolling the streets
• Ambler Symphony Brass Quintet at the Cavalier Drive kiosk
• A band at First Pres patio
• Face painting and balloons for kids

First Fridays are held from May through October.
