'Hanging With Heather,' Montco Woman With Down Syndrome Hosts Facebook Live Show

AMBLER, PA — A local woman who lives with Down Syndrome has made it her mission to give back to her community by hosting a twice-weekly Facebook Live show spotlighting a variety of local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Heather Michaelson, the 46-year-old Montgomery County woman behind the social media show "Hanging with Heather," which premieres every Monday and Friday, was recently featured on a CBS News Philadelphia segment about her program.

Michaelson told the station that she enjoys helping people "with or without disabilities," and that she sees her hour-long show as a way to help highlight the good works of various business owners in the community, from entrepreneurs to chefs to videographers.
