Longtime Ambler Leader, Councilman Salvatore Pasceri, Dies

AMBLER, PA — Ambler area officials and residents are mourning the death of a longtime public servant and leader in the area.

Salvatore Pasceri, 83, was a borough councilman and eventually council president in Ambler.

"He was a tremendous friend to the Ambler Borough Police Department not only as a councilman but also as a resident who cared so much for this town," Ambler Police said in a statement. "He will be missed."

A U.S. Army veteran, Pasceri worked for Honeywell for years, according to his obituary.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home and Crematory on 951 E. Butler Pike in Ambler.
