New Restaurant, Bakery Open To Public On Montco Campus In Blue Bell
Students in the Culinary Arts program run all aspects of the eateries, the school said.

BLUE BELL, PA — A new restaurant and bakery operated by students at Montgomery County Community College are now open to the public, the school said.
Bistro 1964 and Bakery 340, run by students studying Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts programs, are located within the Hospitality Institute on the college's Blue Bell campus.
“Our students are putting the culinary skills they’ve honed in the classroom to the test, for all the community to enjoy,” Anthony Ginexi, the college's dean of business and professional studies, said in a statement. “From gourmet dishes to delicious pastries, guests will be amazed with the quality of food, attention to detail and level of professionalism on display.”

Students run all aspects of the guest experience in the restaurant and bakery.
Bistro 1964 is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday through Dec. 10. Seating is by reservation only on OpenTable, though pizza can be ordered to go.

Lunch is a prix-fixe menu, with a choice of a first and second course, dessert, and drink, all for $20.
The bakery is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays and features pastries, croissants, Danishes, muffins, scones, donuts, cakes, and cookies with fresh seasonal ingredients.
The Hospitality Institute is located on 340 DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell.
