4. Dots and Doodles Grand Opening

Dots and Doodles Art Studio, located at 10925 Perry Highway, Wexford, will celebrate its grad opening at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 with art, food and fun. The studio offers art classes, birthday parties, open studio hours and more for tots, teens and adults.

5. Living Dead Festival in Evans City

Coinciding with the opening of the new Living Dead Museum and Giftshop, the Living Dead Festival will be held Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31 in Evans City’s EDCO Park.
